Freddie and Kay reside in Cocoa, Florida.
They have been in the ministry for over 22 years.
When they are home (and not evangelizing) they attend The Pentecostals of Cocoa ( UPCI) where Rev. & Sis. Jonathan Partsch are the Senior Pastor and First Lady - to whom they are fully and lovingly submitted.
They also receive spiritual direction and guidance from the anointed leadership of Bishop and Sis. Douglas White - Abundant Life Church (UPCI) in Silsbee, Texas.
Freddie and Kay are Apostolic in doctrine, Pentecostal by experience and Holiness in their lifestyle.
Freddie is a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International (Florida District) and is an evangelist, preacher, singer, songwriter and musician.
Kay is a singer and musician as well.
Kay is a beautiful example of a loving, godly and submissive wife to her husband.
Freddie and Kay have been called to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
They have been married for over 22 years.
Freddie has been involved in the ministry since the age of 16 and was called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ when he was 10 years old.
He began picking out the melody to church hymns on a toy pianist the age of 2.
He was raised in the Yadkin Valley region of North Carolina, at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
He is a classically trained, operatic tenor and received his training and his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 1993 from Mars Hill University.
He began serving in full time ministry in 1993 after graduating from college.
While serving as a youth pastor in Cocoa, Florida, he met his wife, Kay.
Freddie’s life has always been filled with music.
He has battled obesity from his childhood.
After fighting and battling obesity - almost losing his life several times - in June 4, 2009, his life almost came to an end.
From his highest weight of 920 pounds, he has lost over 500 pounds without surgery and is continuing his weight loss journey with his beautiful wife Kay right by his side.
Their amazing story has been shared on national and international television, radio, the world wide web and in newspapers all around the world.
In September 2012, the Combs appeared on X-FACTOR on FOX where his touching and stirring performance (which he dedicated to his wife) “Wind Beneath My Wings” astonished the judges.
Freddie and Kay’s desire is to give hope to all who are facing difficult circumstances - in love, giving those who they encounter on a daily basis, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
With the Lord Jesus Christ as the center of their lives, their music, their ministry and their testimony, they continue to be an inspiration to many.
