Kay was born on a U.S. Army base in Nourembourg, Germany.

She is a descendant of both the Hatfields and McCoys (of the Kentucky family feud saga).

•She was raised in the state of Florida.

She has two siblings, an older and a younger sister.

She played the trumpet and french horn in high school.

She was a member of her high school marching band.

During childhood she spent summers with her family in Virginia and Kentucky.

She loves cooking, shopping, crafting, sewing, flea markets and yard sales.

She loves purses, shoes, dogs and flowers.

Her favorite foods are chocolate, cupcakes, shaved ice, Italian and Mexican food.

Her favorite colors are purple and pink.

One of her favorite things is a Yankee Candle ~ the "Home Sweet Home" fragrance.

She is very competitive when playing board games.

She enjoys lots of lemon in ice water and southern sweet tea.

She enjoys reading, travel and sight-seeing.
